Bayer Healthcare (FWB: BAYN), headquartered in Leverkusen, Germany and Versant Ventures, a life sciences venture capital company based in San Francisco, have announced an exclusive collaboration with Inception Sciences. Inc., to launch a new company, “Inception 4”. The new vehicle will focus on the development of medical treatments arising from novel target and pathway research on ophthalmic diseases such as age related macular degeneration (AMD) and geographic atrophy (GA).
