EURETINA guidelines publication ranked in first place of

A publication entitled, “Guidelines for the management of neovascular age-related macular degeneration by the European Society of Retina Specialists (EURETINA)”, published in the British Journal of Ophthalmology, has been ranked in first place for most-read articles, based on full-text and .pdf views at the journal’s website. The collaborative publication, led by Prof. Ursula Schmidt-Erfurth at the University of Vienna, included contributions from leading retinal specialists across the EU. The peer reviewed paper set out a series of recommendations to offer expert guidance for the diagnostic and therapeutic management of neovascular AMD. The article views for the month of August 2014 put the paper in first place indicating a significant level of interest among professionals and peers engaged in the clinical care of patients with AMD.
